Employment Opportunities

Hollmann Specialty Co. offers employment opportunities in the food service industry. We participate in approximately 25 fairs and festivals each season in four different states. Our season runs from late May through the middle of November. Our food items are considered "fast food" items. Most customers purchase the items at our sales windows and carry them away.

Your specific duties would include, but are not limited to, food preparation, light cooking, counter service, janitorial duties, placement of equipment upon arrival at a new location, and preparing the same equipment for removal at the end of each event. Students that can remain into November will have an advantage of being selected for a position.

These positions are salaried, your hours may vary from week to week, but your weekly salary will remain the same. Once the season begins, we travel from event to event with an occasional few days here and there when we are not actually serving the public. During these times, we are busy moving to the next location, setting up, and getting ready for the next event to begin. During this "off" time, we have time to go to the Laundromat, Grocery Store, etc. for any needed personal items.

We provide you with a place to live. You will be housed in a dormitory style trailer, with places for your personal items, a semi-private bunk, shower, and kitchen. All bedding and kitchen utensils are provided. We do not charge you rent, but we do require a $100.00 deposit.
